I recently was in process of purchasing a home when the lender discovered that one of the credit reporting agencies was reporting that I had a substantial number of loans, credit cards, and other revolving charge accounts that would preclude me from qualifying for a loan!

Almost 75% of the information provided was incorrect. I knew that I could personally get the report “cleaned up,” but that it would likely take several months, and my loan needed to fund within 40 days.
